31st October 2017 - Travel Prague to Rome and accommodation at A.Roma Lifestyle Hotel.

We woke to a significantly improved day although it was still cold, but the gale force winds have diminished.

Following a terrific breakfast in the 8th floor Executive lounge, we returned to pack and then to be ready for our Blacklane driver to take us to Terminal 2 at Prague International Airport.  He was ready and had got through the substantially increased security due to the IOC conference at Hilton, Prague.

Our flight on Alitalia 513 was fine we were in seats 6A and 6B.

We arrived a little late but collected our luggage and we were greeted by our Blacklane driver holding a sign with our name.  The trip to the hotel took a quick 25 minutes.  We were checked in very quickly.

Our room / junior suite is 1232 and is very comfortable.  This is an outstanding new 5 star hotel.  We were then unable to book for dinner tonight in the in-house up market specialty restaurant as it was totally booked out.

So we are eating at a local restaurant, recommended by the Concierge.

Ken took his laundry to a local dry cleaners and laundromat, and he then had to negotiate as the the cost.  In the end we negotiated at Euro 21 for7 shirts, all ironed and folded following being washed.

Tomorrow we plan a day riding the hop on hop off bus around Rome, stopping at the Coloseum and the Forum.

We have had a relaxed but tiring travel day.  All arrangements worked well and we are very pleased with the hotel.

Dinner in a very pleasant local trattoria.
