Late Autumn Fall and our Garden is beautiful with Stunning Colours.
We have been home from a most enjoyable holiday in Queensland on the Gold Coast and have enjoyed the annual transition through autumn from the warmth and balmy days of early March to the cooler and changing nature of autumn.
There is much to do as we prepare for our forthcoming trip to USA ( Florida, Hilton Head Island, New Jersey and New York before flyoing to Iceland where we join the Oceania Serena and cruise through Greenland, Iceland and through several of the islands to the north of Edinburg, Scotland and then to Hamburg.
Our autumn is in our view the loveliest time in Melbourne and our suburb of Wheelers Hill looks stunning with its parks and open places.
The Garden is also recovering from the usual hot weather of January, February and preparing for leaves to change colour.
This year we have enjoyed weeks without any wind, golf courses look magical and the who garden is enjoyable.

There are also several fruit trees which are blossom trees and then they shed their beautiful leaves in mid autumn.
We have a project to replace the tiles around the top of our pool and this is scheduled to occur in next 4 weeks or so , but we may defer until our return from overseas in late August 2024.
The mornings are frosty and with clear blue skies, there has been limited rainfall although this should change in July and august as we receive Winter rainfall from cold fronts travelling across our large country from the West to East.
Ken has meticulously been working on our travel arrangements and we are scheduled to catch up with friends in several places.
Last year we lost a beautiful azalea and we haven’t replaced at this time but we will miss the beautiful aromatic perfumes.
Ken continues to play golf twice per week at Kew Golf Club and thoroughly enjoys his Tuesday afternoon and Friday mornings. The course is beautiful as are most of the courses nearby at this time of year. Here are several photos on another perfect day.

It is now early June , approaching the long weekend for the King’s birthday holiday. We are progressing all issues and details to travel to the Parkroyal hotel at Melbourne airport overnight on 19th June before we fly on the first flight to Sydney on morning of the 20th June before we fly with United from Sydney to Los Angeles and late that day to Orlando,
