We return to suite 11071 and we have some serious packing to be completed.
Arrangements are in place with our Butler to serve Cnapes and drinks at 5.30pm and we will relax and enjoy these with several friends that we have made.
We complete our packing as far as possible, change and then enjoy the late afternoon drinks, say goodbye to some people have dinner ( like the last supper). this has been a wonderful cruise. We are a little apprehensive as to the disembarkation processes and our pick up and transfer to Bangkok tomorrow. After dinner we pack the last gear into our cases, put them out in the corridor and are in bed by 10.30pm
We awake at 7.00am, Shower, changes and have breakfast in Grand Dining room.
All done we are ready to leave the ship in an orderly fashion at 8.45am. We say good bye to our room Steward, who has looked after us well and leave money with her to hand over to the Butler.
We are in the Port of Laem Chabang , the sea port of Bangkok, upon leaving the Ship we have to board a shuttle aqcroos the quite long road from the Berth to the Port administrative areas which are the meeting points for the various Shuttles and other independent transport. This is a bit of a “bun-fight” but eventually we arrive at the holding area.
Our driver has made an incorrect meeting point at another Laem Chabang Port entrance and we eventually make contact. some 35 minutes after the scheduled pick up point he arrives, we load our luggage into the back and make our way on our scheduled transfer to Bangkok.
