Langkawi Cable Car and Sky Cab Visit. 30th October 2023.
This was a clear morning and we decided to visit the world famous Sky Cab and Sky Glide. We exchanged US$ for Malaysian currency at a rate of 4.45 to a US$ and then caught a taxi to the Cable Car village and shops and then paid and made our way to the ride .
We catch a Taxi and it costs RM15 which is about $4.50 for the 5 minute trip.
Our guide suggests we purchase tickets and then convert them to arm bands. We chose arrival at 10.30am instead of later when the larger crowds come for the view and lunch at the many restaurants and other entertainment venues.
We ride to the first level with an Indian family from Chennai. They depart and immediately take the second cable car with aqn aim of getting to the Bridge ASAP>
Our approach is to take several photos and Jeranette wishes to remain at this level.
From the top of the first cable car it was a short ride to the second which we situated between two peaks. From there Ken rode the Inclinator up to the top and then across to the Sky bridge. Simply Amazing !!! Hope the photos reflect the scenery.
We returned at approximately 2.00pm and Ken had our complimentary Full body massage at 3.00pm for approximately 80 minutes.
He enjoyed the whole process with the masseuse being Anna. She took him through the whole process and he returned at 4.40pm fully satisfied and really enjoyed the3 whole process.
This has been a clear day but heavy rainfall arrived at 4.45pm. The weather changed dramatically and it teamed for almost 40 minutes.
Dinner tonight is on The Terrace Restarant , which we love. It is our free included set meal. We enjoy a lovely meal from 7.00pm until 8.40 pm. We have 3 courses of superb food, 2 glasses of outstanding New Zealand Cabernet Sauvignon wine and then a hot cappuccino to finish. The re,main continues although of lesser potency and we return to ur suit at 8.40pm. A terrific evening meal.
We enjoyed 3 courses of salads and then a main course of chicken and egg plant parmigiana. Followed by Tiramisu and Chocolate Lava Cake and Ice cream.
We have enjoyed a wonderful relaxing day visiting the Langkawi Cable Car and then a special dinner this evening . We both feel well relaxed after the pressures and daily grin d of the Viking tour .
We do realise how fortunate we are to have each other and to be able to see and undertake activities in these terrific parts of the world.
The service and friendly support and assistance here at The Danni have been out of this world.
We will retire at 9.50 pm after a spectacular day here in Langkawi Malaysia
