About Grand Princess and Sea Days.
We enjoy this large and comfortable ship which the crew ensures has a range of activities.
Our Cabin is on Deck 10 - Suite 317 which is a comfortable balcony suite. Ken would prefer our usual mini-suite because it has more seats. Nonetheless, the cabin is well-fitted out and very comfortable and our room steward Filomil is just wonderful.
The ship has 2 formal nights, presents 2 full production shows, and also has a variety of other entertainers and performers of good quality..
The Specialty restaurants are Crown Grill and Sabatini’s (an Italian restaurant). Both serve excellent food in quality restaurants independent of the main dining room. There is an additional charge..Well worth it.
We note the clientele and passengers groups appear to be older than us, and many from inside cabins take the opportunity to securew seats for the day and don’t move apart from lunch.
Jeanette and Ken enjoy the cruise and we are able to see New Zealand in all of its beauty.
The Captain, certainly daily and sometimes several times updates us as to our trip and issues such as health. We enjoy Princess Cruises for the consistency of its service offering, the quality of the ships, and the wonderful staff.
