Water Ferry in Berlin.

This is a shorter update as to the late afternoon River Cruise along the river in Berlin.

It s a near perfect afternoon and there are lengthy queues of both local and other travellers, and there is quite a rush to gain access as the boats comes to the area. We are given a cool drink (sparkling mineral water) and then we depart on a what will become a thoroughly enjoyable excursion along the river and waterways with a detailed explanation of the architecture and its origins.

We go upstram for almost 40 minutes and then back downstrwam for about 35 minutes.

Thoroughly enjoyed and it gave a different perspective. There is much work going on , the boat is comfortable, the tour commentary is excellent.

Upon completion, Ken decides to walk back the 35-40 minutes to our hotel but also uses several different approaches and side streets and takes in a different route. This was also enjoyable.
