Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), September 24. 2024- Simply Brilliant!!
We attended the final day of AFL Football in Australia for 2024.
This is the Grand Final and we had secured seats through John and Renatta.
We arrived at RACV Club in the city for a Buffet breakfast and we enjoyed an excellent 2 hours before catching the train back to the MCG via Jolimont Station. It was a near perfect Melbourne spring morning. The crowd was likely to reach 100,000 all seated to watch the Grand final between the fouvoured Sydney Swans and the Brisbane lions, who had been beaten by less than a goal.
Our seats were located on Level 2 and not far from our weekly seating. Simply fantastic, seating to watch the biggest game of the year after the Pre Grand Final entertainment starring Katie Perry, who produced a stunning display on a mirrored stage in the middle of the ground.
