Our last Day in Hilton Head Island at Bluewater by Spinnaker.
The week has flown and we have had a most enjoyable 7 nights here before we travel to Savannah International airport and fly to the Queen’s City , Savannah and then fly with a very short transit to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. both flights are with American Airlines.
The day today becomes a full cleaning and preparing day after having a swim in the pool. The weather today is hot 93Degrees and humidity at 75% but less than earlier in the week.
The resort is just fantastic, meeting all of our needs. The lazy Susan is a great way to enjoy the pool. Several people out riding canoes and jet skis from the Bluewater Pier on the Inter-coastal waterway. The kids are everywhere enjoying the facilities.
Ken had also visited the Beach and walked quite a distance in the shallows. The water is not cold as we have in Melbourne, Australia it is warmer with the cold chill taken off.
He also visited HGVC Ocean Oaks Resort and toured the facilities and enjoyed what he saw. The Concierge also commented that it is almost 100% full booked out a year in advance. HGVC has a challenge to find another property in HGVC.
The lowlands and certainly a haven for people wanting exceptional holidays with much to do. A highlight remains Harbourtown and the many boating activities.
Later this afternoon we do a final load of washing, and all is now clean for our next trip. At about 5.00pm we commence to pack and we recognise that our cases will be loaded after we have purchased several items.
Packing is almost finalised before we have dinner in-house at 7.15pm. It has been a near picture perfect day in this idyllic part of the world.
We complete packing following dinner, Ken gets rid of the recycle waste and the rubbish down the Shute.
We are in bed at 9.00pm with the alarm set for 5.00am.
We conclude our time here with fond memories, hope that we have finally sorted out our Bluewater Timeshare and look forward to returning in late 2026.
