Morning came around quickly as our body clocks are still so far away from being aligned to the time zone. Jeanette woke at 4.30am and Ken followed. We had had sufficient sleep and then it was time to consider what to do. Ken eventually decides to travel to the Mall of the Emirates and take in the internal snow fields and ski lodge and resort.
We showered and dressed for breakfast and then saw another unique experience here at Habtoor Palace.
Breakfast is served in the French Restaurant - BQ-French Restaurant and Bar and it provides a superb buffet breakfast.
From here Ken catches a taxi to the Mall of the Emirates and spends about 2 hours taking photos of the Snowfields and the many people engaged. It is worthwhile.
He then uses a taxi to do a drive through a variety of the key areas including a visit to the Palms
The day passes quickly and we then have to think of our forthcoming dinner at the highly regarded steak house followed by a quick walk next door to the La Perele Theatre complex for the water show.
But first, we should comment upon the restaurant highly recommended as perhaps the best Steakhouse in Dubai. We enjoyed great food, excellent service, good wines, and a wonderful ambiance. We were a little early for those dining in for the night but we had booked this and the show, so we needed to fit it all into our schedule
We are uncertain what to expect but it is very similar to the Circus Soleil in Las Vegas and other parts of the world.
Quite simply this performance at La Perle is one of the most amazing theatre performances we have seen and enjoyed anywhere in the world.
The music, dancing and singing as well as the acrobatics, the water palys and the connection with the audience was simply amazing.
We came away simply stunned. We didn’t understand wghat we were to see, the whole performance from the water scenes to the acrobatics and then the dancing was almost unbeleivable. We haven’t seen anything like it.
