Our Departure from Langkawi and flight to Kuala Lumpur 2nd November 2023

We woke to a perfect Langkawi morning and decided to have the usual breakfast prior to our packing.

Our visit to the restaurant was a little sad as we said goodbye to the wonderful staff. Ken took some photos and some are below.

This has been a terrific 5 day stay and we have now fully recuperated, enjoyed everything we have done here, including Ken having 2 full body spa treatments. The Suite has been just right, the food just special and the friendly service just right.

The packing worked well, we changed and had our luggage collected at 10.50am and we went to reception to check out and pay our account.

There was the first night superb dinner in the Terrace Restaurant, then followed up with the Sunday Brunch and several laundry expenses and a few drinks. All in all a terrific stay.

We were then driven to the Airport and we checked in at Malaysian Airlines very quickly, had a drink in the Plaza Premium lounge, then went through Immigration and Customs security.

Our flight arrived and we boarded ahead of schedule. We were the only customers in Business Class. A smooth flight of an hour and 10 minutes, then a walk through the Kuala Lumpur Airport and collected our luggage, walked outside to Gate 3 , where our driver was waiting. A 45 -55 minute trip with our driver, Vincent Ooi, Reg VAY7148.

We arrived at Doubletree by Hilton Kuala Lumpur at the Intermark Retail and commercial Centre. We went to Check in on level 1 but were quickly ushered to the Executive Lounge on level 34. We completed our check in and made our way to our Suite 2809, which is very comfortable.
