Victoria and Albert (VA) Waterfront, Cape Town , South Africa
The Waterfront is a centre of activity within Cape Town.
We enjoyed our time in this exciting development area and the following photos reflect the vibes and excitement this area provides to tourists as well as locals within Cape Town.
The Cape Grace Hotel had recommended the BAIA Seafood Restaurant and we had dinner there on our second evening. As we left the Cape Grace we listened to the wonderful singing of Native/ indigenous South African singers.
We then walked through the Harbour Area, all the while taking in the Table Top Mountains then came to entrance 5 of the V and A Waterfront complex.
We enjoyed another superb meal with a combination of seafood and meats followed by exquisite desserts. We had an excellent experienced local waiter who provided sound recommendations. We also understand why the hotel recommended this superb restaurant. A good night was enjoyed and the meal was quite reasonably proced. Enjoyed local wines including from Stellenbosch region.
We then walked back to The Cape Grace ahead of the scheduled load shorting outage.
