Day Sailing from Nuuk in Nuuk Fjord with Ice floes - Beautiful and Dramatic
After yesterday visiting Nuuk and with the significant amendments to our dalily itinerary as a consequence of the Ice Floes from the shrinking glaciers in Greenland we sailed into the Nuuk Fjords.
This is a day we will never forget from waking to finding ice flows outside our window to breakfast with large ice-bergs outside our windows. It was simply amazing and certainly surpassed our expectations.
We sailed slowly all morning through the various interconnecting fjords, each providing stunning scenery and the ice bergs.
