We had a light meal and slept well. The day was forecast to bring thunderstorms and heavy rainfall. The morning we travelled by shuttle to the Vivo Shopping Mall.

In the afternoon Jeanette decided to have a rest then Ken caught the shuttle from the hotel to the Paragon Shopping Mall then the train MRT to City Hall and took photos of the St. Andrews Cathedral, the National Museum and parklands and the War Memorial.

It was enjoyable, but hot and extremely humid. Ken then missed the shuttle bus back during a long telephone call with our son David as to his leaving his current employment. A sense of relief thus is progressing.

From here a taxi to return to Sofitel Sentosa, where we enjoyed a drink.

Then we caught a shuttle back to the Marina Bay and Sands are sort and ate in the food court before watching the spectacular Sound and Lights show on the water out front of the resort . It was simply stunning. Then a short 10 minutes walk over a bridge to watch the later light and sound show at The Gardens by the Bay where the Supertree Grove comes to life where the trees are featured in another colour and sound display.

We thoroughly enjoyed both sound and light shows although the Marina by the Bay production is so good.
