2nd April 2019 Moscow, The Kremlin, St.Basil’s Cathedral, Red Square, the Moscow Underground then back to our hotel by 17.00pm
/We awoke having slept very well, enjoyed a wonderful breakfast overlooking the Kremlin from the 2nd floor dining room here at the National Hotel Moscow.
our guide arrived at 10.00am , introduced herself as Katherine, called our driver and we proceeded to the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour. An important Cathedral built to celebrate the Russian defeat of Kazan.

The Stalin high rise, one of 7 built during his time of rule , was meant to drag the energy from the sky. This became the first technology park for all kinds of scientists.
But these 7 buildings were also built to challenge the sky scrapers of the USA.

We visited Eliseevsky Food store which is a food store selling all types of food in an amazing building with Chandeliers , ornate decorations and friendly servers dressed in period costumes.

GUM Shopping Arcade
GUM shopping mall is a stylish upmarket shopping centre on Red Square. Very modern and filled with all of the global high end stores.

Stock Exchange of Moscow, new building.
The amazing Moscow underground. Marble, mosaics, statues, etc was established in 1935. We rode 3 trains through the underground to see different stations.
