31st March 2019 Tour of St Petersburg - All the Major sites-Simply Amazing.
/We have a 5 hour Tour of St Peyersburg with pick up from our Hotel at 10.00am. We have breakfast in the stunningly beautiful main dining room, following which we meet our guide in the foyer at 9.50am. She introduces herself as Tatiana and she is a senior guide with over 30 years experience.
Our departurefrom the Belmond Grand Hotel is in driving rain and we are disappointed given yesterday adternoon and the Clear blue skies. She confirms that we do not wish to visit the Hermitage Gallery and Museums with their thousands of wonderful art works.
Our first stop is over the canals and then down toward the river Neva? We drive down the principal boulevard named Nevsky Prospekt, which is just a stunning street with beautiful architecture. The stop is then at the large square.

We then drove along to the bridge crossing from the seafarers memorial to the spectacular Peter and St Paul Fortress with is stunning gold spires.
