We pack and depart the famed Fleischer’s Hotel here in Voss to enable us to catch the 1.48 train from Voss to Bergen.  The train is running 10 minutes late due to snow on the line.

Our Carriage is 6 with seats 11 and 12 and the train is heavily booked.  Our trip takes about 1 hour15 minutes to Bergen through some extremely beautiful scenery of lakes, mountains and everything in between.

It is enjoyable trip and we see further stunning scenery and very rough hard Country.

We arrive at Bergen a delightful city of about 275,000 people.

The Station is covered and it is raining steadily.

We try to get a cab but the driver of the Herdi Gruiten bus sees us ushers us across the road, to the bus, loads our luggage and then collects the fee and drops us off T our hotel the Clarion Admiralty in a terrific location.

We are quickly checked in for our 2 nights.  We find it very comfortable, small compact rooms.
