Perfect Queensland morning. Another beautiful day on the Gold Coast.

We awoke around7.00am to a perfect morning of sunshine and clear blue skies.. The sun is beautiful with forecast 22 degree Celsius .

Today we do our shopping because last night we only got sufficient for breakfast and lunch.

Following breakfast we went to Woolies then to the Club to renew our membership only to find it is current until 2021. We booked shows, then had coffee and cakes.

Ken is going to play golf at Coolangatta Tweed for 9 holes this afternoon.

We will walk along the beach later, although Ken enjoyed a 20 minute walk before lunch . Just superb weather and a great afternoon golfing at Coolangatta Tweed Golf Club. Played 9 holes on River course, had 45 off the stick, played okay but putted really well.

Dinner tonight of chicken salad followed by strawberries and ice cream.

watched some AFL.

Has been a terrific couple of days.

Flight Melbourne to Gold Coast - Coolangatta

We left home at 9.15 am dropped off a couple of items at GWUC, then proceeded to drive from Wheelers Hill to Tullamarine where we dropped our car off at Andrews Parking. A shuttle dropped us off at Terminal 4.

Our check-in was quick using self check-in. We had to then await notification of the departure gate for flight JQ 436 at 12.30 pm for the Gold Coast. We had a cappuccino at Brunetti cafe.

We then had the 10 minute walk to gate48 with boarding at 12.10pm.

Flight departed at 12.36pm and our flight time was 1 hour 43 minutes. A good flight.

upon landing we went to Eurocrats, picked up a nw Nissan X Trail, before collecting our luggage and Ken’s golf clubs.

Weather was warm but threatening rain.

Drove 10 minutes to our accommodation at Beachcomer, Coolangatta . Parked then checked in and I our suite by 3.30pm. We unpacked very quickly, the bathrooms have been refurbished.

A heavy rain shower passed through.

A quick drink, before dinner was warranted. Our day has been enjoyable, everything worked well.

Dinner at the Coolangatta Surf Club, was enjoyable. The club has been refurbished.

We returned to watch AFL match and enjoyed North Melbourne vs Hawthorn.

We both slept wee and missed a significant storm before midnight.

All has worked well , accommodation, very comfortable
